Sorry, didn't know. Just heard some people mention that they thought PV RULZ was you at one time.
In that case, you think PV RULZ is from Haysi? He or she has talked junk about everyone, except Powell Valley of course. I just thought I would ask you since you spoke up, sorry if I offended by doing so.

Anyway, back to the topic, I hope all the LPD teams do well, I enjoy my Saturdays being planned out for me!
It was good to see the success that the kids from Powell Valley had Saturday, as I know alot of them. Good kids, good game really, GC just I dunno, didint look like the same ole GC.
Regardless, I hope I have to go to JMU to see 2 LPD teams play!
The thing is Trio Haysi didn't beat Honaker by using the run. They mainly beat them w/ defense and the pass. Haysi has had some really good defenses the past few years but this one is probably the best. They have the best receiving core they have had in a while and Compton is the best QB Haysi has had in a while. I have talked to several Haysi coaches and they tried to schedule Abingdon, Va High, GW, Graham, Tazewell, Lebanon, Wise and PV so don't go off on the weak schedule when the Vikes wouldn't even play them. Not I'm not a Tiger fan but I think they do deserve a little respect.
So you think Compton is better than both of the Colley boys??? What have you been smokin?
I don't think Compton is better than either of the Colleys but he is not a big step back either......Honistly I think that Compton while not the running/make something out of nothing threat that the Colleys were plays more within the offince.
Here is my take on the game Haysi is probably the most balenced team that PV has seen this year. They have a solid Line a heck of a powerback 2 good scat backs and a solid passing game, on D they can stop the run but have had trouble defending the pass so IMHO PV should be able to score some points on them but Haysi should put up some points on PV as well. All in all this game may very well come down to the wire. I think I would pick PV if the game were not being played at Sandlick so my pick is Haysi by less than a TD
Well coming from a former Haysi QB I can tell you that Saturday was the best performance we've had from that position(in a big game) in a good 10 or so. I'm not saying Lance is better than either Jake or Robbie but I've said from the beginning of the year that he could be just as good. I think Jake and Robbie both were good QB's but neither was as good as advertised. The media seems to do that with a coach's kid and it didn't hurt that both of them were all everything in basketball. Lance is doing a really good job and will be one of the areas top QB's again next year as long as the line continues to give him time to throw like they have so far this year.
I meant to say its been 10 years or so since we've had a QB play that well in a big game.
